Hi, I'm Amanda, a California-based lifestyle photographer with a passion for capturing authentic moments that tell a story. My journey into photography began as a creative escape when I moved to California for my husband's Navy career. With no familiar faces around, I turned my love for photography from a hobby into a side business, and it quickly became so much more.

What sets me apart is my deep understanding of social media dynamics, honed over 5 years in social media marketing. I bring this expertise into every shoot, knowing exactly how to capture images that not only look stunning but also resonate in today’s digital world.

    For seven years, I built brands and crafted digital strategies for others. My work was driven by a passion for storytelling and creating lasting connections online.

    When my husband’s job brought us to California, it felt like an opportunity for change. Moving to a new state, where I knew no one, gave me the push to start building a new life.

    After dedicating myself to helping brands grow, I was laid off unexpectedly. It was a tough moment, but it also gave me the space to rethink my path.

    Now, I’m using the skills I honed over the past seven years to build my personal brand. I’ve shifted my focus to photography, videography, and content creation, allowing me to connect with others and create meaningful work.

  • To get started, simply fill out the contact form on my website. Once I receive your inquiry, we’ll dive into the details of your vision and preferences to ensure your session is tailored to you.

    To secure your date, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required. The remaining balance will be due before your session or wedding day and will be applied to the total cost.

  • For outdoor sessions, we can either reschedule or work with the conditions depending on your preference. I always keep an eye on the forecast and communicate with you ahead of time!

  • It's recommended to book at least 3-6 months in advance, especially for weddings or busy seasons like holidays. However, feel free to reach out for last-minute availability!

  • The typical turnaround time for most sessions is 2-4 weeks, while weddings and larger events can take 6-8 weeks. I’ll always keep you updated on the editing process.

  • I accept a variety of payment methods to make the process as convenient as possible. You can pay using any major credit card, Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay. If you have any specific payment preferences or questions, feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to assist!

  • Yes! I’m available for travel both within the state and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, but I’m happy to discuss this in more detail.

  • I always suggest wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in. Neutral colors and coordinating outfits work great for most sessions, but I’m happy to offer more personalized advice based on your shoot.

  • The number of photos depends on the type of session. For example, wedding clients can expect anywhere between 400-800 edited images, while smaller sessions like engagements or portraits usually result in 50-100 edited images.

  • Of course! I love including your furry family members in your photos, just let me know beforehand so we can plan accordingly.
